# Draw Tool

> Paint a mask to control exactly which areas of the image the AI transforms.

# Draw Tool

The Draw tool gives you pixel-level control over which parts of the image change. Paint a mask over the areas you want to redesign, and the AI will transform only those regions.

## How It Works

<Steps>
  <Step title="Open the Draw tab">
    Select the **Draw** tab in the editor toolbar.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Paint your mask">
    Use the brush tool to paint over the areas you want the AI to change. Adjust brush size as needed.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Describe the change">
    Write a prompt describing what should appear in the masked area.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Generate">
    The AI fills in the masked region based on your prompt while keeping everything outside the mask untouched.
  </Step>
</Steps>

## Toolbar Controls

* **Brush** — Paint to add to the mask
* **Eraser** — Remove parts of the mask
* **Brush size** — Adjust the brush radius
* **Undo** — Revert the last stroke
* **Clear** — Remove the entire mask

## Combining with Other Features

The Draw tool can be combined with:

* **Style selection** — Apply a specific style to the masked area
* **Reference images** — Use a reference to guide the aesthetic of the fill

<Tip>
  For best results, be generous with your mask — cover the entire area you want changed, including edges and shadows.
</Tip>
